This commentary explains, in the light of the pattern of organization found in phenomenal nature, the Quranic conception of God as the Cherisher, Nourisher and Sustainer of the Universe, whose grace and bounty are for all mankind, irrespective of race, nationality, community or caste and regardless of religious faiths. It also explains the role of Islam not as  a new religious doctrine but as the reiteration or reminder of the Divine Message proclaimed by numerous prophets in different places and at different times
