Street Da’wah is one of the ways to deliver Islamic messages to the community whether it is Muslim or not yet Muslim. The approach used is more relaxed where we will use surveys, photographs and leaflets to start a conversation. The Mega Street Da’wah is organized by Multiracial Reverted Muslims (MRM) and collaboration with Islamic Propagation Society International (IPSI). IPSI will take over in Penang which is in Kapitan Keling Mosque.

This event is suitable according to verse:

“O ye who believe! Guard yourselves and your families from the fire of fire: men and stones (of Hell) are guarded and guarded by hard-working angels; they do not disobey Allah in all which He has commanded them, and they do all that is commanded. ” [Surah At Tahrim 66:6]

You do not have to be an ustaz or ustazah to convey Islam because the task of delivering Islam is the responsibility of all Muslims.

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: “Convey from me even a single verse” [Bukhari]

The Prophet used to tell his Companions to do: “Convey (knowledge) from me even if it is just one aayah” [Bukhari].
